Keiichi Morisato is a young man looking to earn his place in society with a little hard work and some really bad luck, yes Keiichi is one of the less fortunate to have the star of misery over his head. This star brings the bearer more then enough of his/her share of bad luck. Despite having horrible luck from everyday tasks to his love life Keiichi strives at being an extremely kind and decent person. As payment for his kind acts and his constant habit of putting others before himself he gets a gift from god, literally...

While doing a list of chores left from his Senpai's Tamiya and Den-chan, in the mean time Keiichi calls his Senpai and gets a hold of the "Goddess Assistance Agency" and is visited by the Goddess Belldandy. After the slight shock of having a women come out of his mirror he find that he has been given Heaven's Grace which allows him any wish he desires. Keiichi in the heat of the moment asks Belldandy to stay with him forever. After the wish is surprisingly granted Keiichi and Belldandy travel the area to look for a home after being kicked out of the Dorm for breaking the Golden Rule of bringing a woman into the dorm. Thanks to Belldandy they find a wonderful temple to stay at with a senile monk who leaves to "Find him self". As the story progresses Keiichi and Belldandy slowly progress in there relationship. Now a little further along in the story Urd, Belldandys Older Sister comes to visit along with Skuld, Belldandy's younger sister. As the conflict between Skuld, Urd and Keiichi continue Belldandy finds her self wanting to stay with Keiichi for more then the contract alone, and begins to discover a whole new world...
