Takuma Hirose has recently been struck by unexplainable blindness. In hopes that a clean environment will help his recovery, he moves with his uncle into the country. Things are different in the country than in the city, and a prominent caste system has left one of his classmates, Hayami Kohinata, teased, bullied, and literally beat. Takuma is firm that this is wrong, vows to befriend Kohinata, and stop the torture that is affecting her everyday.
