Synopsis: The story takes place in Tokyo in 2039. After the outbreak of the unidentified virus "Lost Christmas" in 2029, Japan has been under the control of a multinational organization called GHQ. Ouma Shu is a 17-year-old boy who has a psychic power in his right hand. He can use the power "Ability of King" to extract tools or weapons from his friends. He has been avoiding making trouble for others but his life changes when he meets a girl named Yuzuriha Inori, a member of a resistance guerrilla group called "Undertaker", whose members pilot mecha weapons to fight against the government.
Watched first episode and its pretty fckn good. lol

I've been stockpiling all the new releases on my hard drive and will watch them when they finish. I have about 3 or four series I waiting on, I may have to add this one to my collection...

The intro song might become my new all time favorite, so freakin' intense - actually the first 5minutes of the first episode felt a bit like the first MGS game to me.
Had a beautiful feelin to it, the scenes music and scentences in the first 10minutes were just what i've wanted to hear.
I've just watched the first episode right now but im already starvin' to watch the whole thing.
And yes i agree with everyone else here that says it reminds them of Code Geass - it really is Code Geass all over again.
BUT i love Code Geass not because of the super powers, the mecha fights or the futuristic war opression setting.
I love Code Geass because of very well chosen and developed characters, conversations and alot of thought behind the whole story and protagonists.
Because of the Art and the lovely designed Characters and the Detail within them mixed with excellent music.
All of that, was in the first episode of Guilty Crown - thats why i only can recommend to watch it. Who cares about the general setting, when everything else is BA right?
